For employees and employers
We advise companies, institutions and individuals on employment, labour, industrial relations and service matters. For employers, we draft HR manuals, policies and employment contracts, and advise on day-to-day issues such as recruitment, transfers, deputation, discipline and termination.
For employees, we act in cases of wrongful termination, unpaid dues, withheld relieving letters and service disputes. We appear before Labour and Industrial Courts, tribunals and the High Court of Karnataka.

Questions
Common questions
General information only. For advice on your situation, please speak to us.
My employer terminated me without reason. What can I do?
Your options depend on your role, your contract and the law that applies to you. Workmen may approach the Labour Court, and others may have claims under their contract. Bring your appointment letter, termination letter and pay records, and we will advise you.
Is a non-compete clause enforceable in India?
Restrictions that stop an employee from working after leaving are generally not enforceable under Section 27 of the Indian Contract Act, but confidentiality and non-solicitation obligations often are. Each clause has to be read on its own facts.
Do you advise employers too?
Yes. We draft employment contracts, HR policies and disciplinary documents, and advise on terminations, notice-period disputes and Labour Court matters.
